On February 18th & 19th, the Kick-off Meeting of the 6G-Leader project took place in Nicosia, hosted by the University of Cyprus. This project will drive innovation to shape the future of connectivity.
The first day included discussions on key technologies, energy efficiency, spectrum optimisation and goal oriented semantic networking, allowing the participants to share their vision and to reinforce their common objectives. The second day was mainly focused on dissemination, standardisation and impact creation activities.
Federico Mungari and Enrique Marín (Smart Networks team) represented Eviden during this meeting. They will lead the participation of Eviden in this project, aimed at designing and developing machine learning-based control applications within the Open RAN architecture.
