On 21st March 2025, ERATOSTHENES project celebrated its final event in a workshop format that showcased how the Europe's Research and Innovation community addresses identity, trust, security, and privacy challenges for IoT devices and network systems. The workshop took place in Athens and begun with keynote speeches from ENISA, the European Commission, and the Greek Ministry of Digital Transformation, highlighting the current cybersecurity landscape, research, and challenges at National and International levels. the Identity Management & Privacy team withiin R&D Spain participated with the presentation "ERATOSTHENES - Identity Management for IoT Devices".
Parallel sessions covered research projects, cybersecurity awareness, and technical challenges, including hands-on training sessions on Reverse Engineering and Binary Exploitation, and Applied Cryptography targeted at beginners, including students and engineers, the hybrid workshop will take place at the University of Piraeus, with online participation available.
The “ERATOSTHENES Project CTF” also launched a 15-day online "Capture the Flag" competition (until the 4/4/25), offering participants practical challenges aligned with the workshop’s themes.
