ICOS, NEMO and NEPHELE will be exhibited at the IoT Tech Expo 2025 that will take place on 24-25 September 2025 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Eviden is ICOS and NEMO project coordinator and plays a relevant role as a consortium partner in NEPHELE. Our colleagues Francesco d'Andria and Enric Pagès from the Edge Computing team will represent Eviden R&D Spain on this event.
The three projects will join an exhibition booth with all its other MetaOS ecosystem sibling projects that have been funded by the European Commission under the same topic - aerOS, FluidOS and NebulOuS. Videos and demos of the projects' use cases will be exhibited in booths 6 and 8 of this Expo. The projects are coming to their end so this will be their final event, were results will be presented.
The MetaOS projects are organising the session "The European MetaOS Landscape – An Operating System for the Edge" in the central room of the exhibition space. This session will cover the following topics:
- Ecosystem building and Open-source software artifacts from the Meta-OS projects: openness, modularity and extensibility
- Meta-OS core architecture and platform integration
- Edge-to-cloud federation in a secure and trusted way across the computing continuum
- IoT virtualization and convergence with edge/cloud and network management mechanisms in the computing continuum
- AI-driven optimisation, resource management and self-adaptation
- Real-world use cases and validation pilots - Unlocking Value: Meta-OS Use Cases, Pilots & Sustainability of results
