On June 9-10, the Campus Biotech in Geneva hosted the TRUST project's kickoff meeting, gathering a multidisciplinary consortium of partners including SME alliances, DPO associations, supervisory authorities, industry, researchers and academia.
TRUST addresses the challenge of regulatory compliance in Europe, where over 24 million companies are subject to 144,000 EU regulations. While AI can support these processes, it faces barriers such as data leak risks, fast-evolving technology, adoption costs and reliability issues linked to LLM hallucinations.
The project aims to overcome these challenges by combining trustworthy LLMs, regulatory compliance services, certification frameworks and co-designed online tools into a user-centric platform, reducing legal uncertainty and increasing confidence in AI-supported compliance processes.
Bull's R&D Spain division leads one of the project's three core work packages: the Online Platform of Regulatory Compliance Services (OPRCS). This work focuses on developing a multi-agent framework that serves as the foundation for a series of AI-powered regulatory compliance services.
The project is mutually beneficial for both TRUST and Bull, allowing the creation of AI solutions that can be used in real regulatory compliance situations. TRUST's multi-agent framework will be used to test the solution in the real world, and to make improvements in partnership with a variety of technical and non-technical partners, as well as end users.
Trust will run from June 2026 through May 2029.
