Cybersecurity ecosystem in EU is a hot topic, as it relates to the recent establishment of the EU Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC), the Network of National Coordination Centres (NCCs) and the Cybersecurity Community (CC). In this direction, four pilot projects of cybersecurity competence community (ECHO, SPARTA, CS4E and CONCORDIA) worked during the last 4 years (2019-2023) on several issues, including the experimentation with different support services for bringing research results to the market. In CONCORDIA and CS4E projects, the selected approach was to use collaborative ranking and filtering of exploitable results (ERs) into key ERs, according to several criteria that are defined by the community. Analysis of lessons learned, as well as the remaining challenges, reveals useful insights for the future governance of the emerging ecosystem, as well as several recommendations for the follow-up activities.
