OMEGA-X took part in several sessions of the BRIDGE General Assembly and the Energy Data Spaces Cluster event, both held in Brussels in late March. His contributions reflected the project's involvement in shaping the future of energy data spaces in Europe.
The BRIDGE General Assembly, held on 25–26 March, brought together energy sector stakeholders to exchange ideas and promote the market uptake of research results. As part of the "World Café with BRIDGE projects" session, OMEGA-X was invited to share its achievements as a mature initiative with a high Technology Readiness Level within the "Advanced digital technologies (Data spaces, AI and IoT solutions)” working table, contributing to a discussion about bridging the gap between innovation and investment. The aim of this exercise was to gather constructive feedback on how to improve the bankability of projects, thereby increasing their chances of securing funding or financing for large-scale deployment.
On the second day, OMEGA-X participated in a working group session on data management, contributing to ongoing discussions on the development of interoperable and scalable data spaces for the energy sector.
On March 27, OMEGA-X participated in the final event of the Energy Data Spaces Cluster, held at the Fraunhofer offices in Brussels. The session reviewed progress on five system use cases, with a focus on the interoperability demonstrated between the participating projects. OMEGA-X played an active role in this effort, helping to validate the practical application of Data Space technologies.
The presence of European Commission representatives provided an opportunity for feedback and guidance on the future direction of energy digitalisation.
These events highlighted the importance of OMEGA-X in supporting the integration of advanced digital technologies into the European energy ecosystem, with a focus on scalability, interoperability, and real-world impact.
