
On 24-25 June, SUNRISE was presented by Eviden at the Security Research Event 2025 in Warsaw, Poland.
The Security Research Event (SRE) conference is accompanied by exhibition with more than 50 booths, as well as a dedicated area for small scale demonstrations of solutions developed under the Horizon Framework and other EU Programmes for research and innovation. Among estimated 2000 visitors of SRE event there were many representatives of institutional bodies including the EU commissioner for Home Affairs, Magnus Brunner.
The most outstanding part of the SUNRISE presentation was the one on the UAV RII tool, which featured a video recorded at mountainous Dolomite area where members of the Eviden team in SUNRISE shows how to detect cracks or anomalies in the infrastructure. The video included demos of two solutions developed by the R&D Spain team: Cyber-Physical Resilience, developed by the HPC Software Security team, and Remote Infrastructure Inspection, developed by the Computer Vision team.
June was a busy month in SUNRISE. There was also a project presentation on June 4th at 18th International Conference “Crisis Management Days”, held in Opatija (Croacia), an a presentation and a participation in the online panel discussions during the 2nd ENDURANCE Meeting of the Pan-European Working Group for Disruption Resilience (June 19th), as well as the 2nd SUNRISE Project EU Workshop, held also online on June 6th.
