The project SUNRISE, where Eviden was the coordinator and leader of the work package "Cyber-Physical Resilience", as well as the leader of the task "Visual infrastructure inspection with UAV", ended successfully on 30 September 2025 after 36 months of work involving colleagues from the Cybersecurity and Computer Vision teams.
After the final event held in Brussels in late September, a final review organised by the EC on 30 October was held online to close the project.
The consortium presented the project's outcomes: four technological solutions to improve the resilience and continuity of critical infrastructure.
These four solutions are:
- The Risk-Based Access Control (RiBAC) Solution, which minimises the exposure of essential workers in critical facilities during pandemics or similar events.
- The Demand Prediction and Management Solution, which predicts the demand for vital resources during emergency scenarios, including physical, digital and human services.
- The Cyber-Physical Resilience Solution, which ensures a reliable, robust and continuous operation of digital services by identifying the first stages of cyber-attacks and threats.
- The Remote Physical Infrastructure Inspection Solution, which ensures resilience and continuity of critical services during periods with fewer available skilled workers while addressing more frequent and extreme natural disasters.
Eviden’s contribution has been key to the project, especially to the last two solutions above.
