It is a public-private partnership created by the IMR, the Department of Environment, Climate and Communications (DECC), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and EIT Climate-KIC with 25 founding members from industry.

To demystify, de-risk and deliver circular business model innovation by unlocking the value that resides in the Irish circular economy.

Their objectives?

Between 2020 and 2022, CIRCULÉIRE will take manufacturers and their supply chain on a journey from linear to circular business models through foundation definition, auditing, business case development and in-depth demonstration innovation projects that deliver significant reductions in greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and waste production across the network.
