The project NEMO has successfully ended after 37 months of work. To close it, the Final Review took place on December 1st, where all results where showcased. The project, led by Eviden, counted with several members of the Edge team.
The panel of reviewers highly appreciated the management work performed by Eviden's team, as well as the quality of technical results.
Eviden was in charge of the NEMO Core bundle, which provides the minimum set of functionalities for running the NEMO MetaOS. More specifically, Eviden R&D team developed the NEMO Meta-Orchestrator (MO), able to manage workload deployment across managed target clusters. It uses information from declarative intents to identify the most suitable cluster, ensuring a smooth, zero-touch deployment. Moreover, thanks to the Intent-Based Migration Controller (IBMC), it is capable to move workloads across clusters with zero-downtime from users’ perspective.
Additionally, according to the reviewers, the project has successfully developed a sustainability plan ensuring the results maintenance.
