Within the XReco project, Eviden has developed a Metasearch Service, a platform that allows user search across multiple media archives and data sources from a single access point. It doesn’t replace existing systems; instead of that, it connects them.

Following the Industry 4.0 vision of a full digitization of the industry, time-critical services and applications, allowing network infrastructures to deliver information with determinism and reliability, are becoming more and more relevant for a set of vertical sectors.

Complex applications, which include microservices, computationally intensive batch jobs, and sophisticated interaction with the external environment, demand for heterogeneous computational infrastructures that range from cloud to HPC and edge computing.
